Zach Golden is a filmmaker in New York. A natural storyteller, he brings a unique visual perspective and gift for comedic timing to all of his films.
He wrote and directed the independent film The Escape of Prisoner 614 (Ron Perlman, Martin Starr, Jake McDorman), which was given a theatrical release and distributed by Lionsgate and Saban Films in 2018.
He also created, wrote, and directed the popular comedy web series WeatherFrom (David Krumholtz), inspired by his own overbearing Jewish grandmother. It was incredibly well received online, and Zach sold a pilot for “Gigi Does It” to IFC, which got picked up for an 8 episode order that aired in 2015.
Zach regularly directs commercials for clients such as GE, Yahoo, Kodak, P&G, and many more. He received a B.A. from New York University in film and semiotics, and is in a lifelong love/hate relationship the Buffalo Bills.
